In addition to offering you invaluable work experience, you'll
undertake training through the Chartered Management Institute
towards a level 3 Certificate in Management.
Placements are selected according to individuals' degree
discipline, special interests and long-term aims. We treat Year in
Industry students as real employees, helping them to get involved
in the real work of their team.
On completion of your placement, you'll be asked to give a
formal presentation to key business stakeholders for your project,
reviewing your achievements and giving you fantastic exposure to
senior members of the management team.
Outstanding placement students may be offered sponsorship for
their degree (or remainder of their degree) with the view to
joining the GDP upon completion.
