Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability's (CR&S) role is
to help all the other functions see the world in a different way so
they can be more socially and environmentally responsible, while at
the same time improving the financial bottom line.
We challenge the way the entire organisation works. We look
at stakeholder concerns, strategy, governance, performance,
disclosure and assurance. We deal with people, places, processes
and products. Our goal is to enhance Cobham's reputation, add
revenue, improve return on capital employed and minimise risk. We
touch every part of the business.
In 2009 Cobham achieved double digit earnings growth while
reducing its carbon, water and waste footprint - proving that
making a difference doesn't cost the earth.
